Hailing from lovely Burbank, Calfornia, Al St. Germain
led the YPMB into the 1998 campaign. Before being selected as DM,
some of Al's personal highlights included: falling off the Yale Bowl
steps into some mud his freshman year, eating a pound of bacon one
Sunday morning, and earning a grade of "A-" in Mr. Hernandez's high
school health class. (Way to go Al!)
Al had the unique
opportunity of leading the YPMB in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for the NCAA
hockey playoffs, as well as Lake Placid for the ECAC tournament. At
both these contests Al was happy to purchase grossly overpriced
souvenir t-shirts.
When asked about his tenure as Drum Major, Al said, "Leading the YPMB
is and will be one of the highlights of my young life (along with the
bacon thing). I hope that we can build on the success of this past
year and lead forth into the new millenium, a new millenium that will
pose great challenges to all mankind. Oh, and I'd like to see if we
could get some new blazers, too."
