faculty and staff.

Tercentennial
Convocation
1:00 PM -
A formal ceremony, on Cross Campus, commemorating
the 300th anniversary of the founding of Yale. A procession
of Yale faculty, staff, students, and visiting university
presidents opens the academic convocation. Seating
will be limited to current Yale faculty, staff and
students plus a limited number of invited guests.

and Show at the Yale Bowl
Admission
to the following events is free, but each individual
admitted must have a ticket. Individual and family
tickets for University students, faculty and staff
are being distributed on campus through various means.

4:30 PM - Exhibits, performances
and activities for all ages. Free admission, but
tickets required.

Vistas/Global Perspectives

AM - Symposium continues Saturday with remarks
on global issues given by William Jefferson Clinton,
former President of the United States, 1973 graduate
of the Yale Law School, and remarks by Ernesto Zedillo,
Ph.D. '81, former President of Mexico.

Tickets are required to attend former President Clinton's
speech. However, due to extraordinary response, there
are no tickets remaining. The speech will be broadcast
on every Yale cable channel outlet and on Comcast
cable channel 8. It will also be available
on cable in Linsley Chittenden
101 as well as televisions in residential colleges
and elsewhere on campus.

Worship Service
10:00 AM - Tercentennial Worship Service at
Battell Chapel. The Yale Alumni Chrous will participate
in this service. All are welcome.
Yale
vs. Dartmouth
1:00 PM - Yale vs. Dartmouth football game
at the Yale Bowl. Seating for this game in General
Admission is free of charge and no prior ticket orders
are required. If you wish to purchase a reserve section
ticket, you may call the Yale Athletics Department
ticket office at 432-1400 for more information.
