2008 Holiday Food Drive

The YAAA Holiday Food Drive was a great success during October and November of 2008! Due to the generosity of Yale University and the New Haven community, our efforts helped this year‚s recipient, Christian Community Action Agency(CCA) to exceed their goal to distribute over 1,550 bags of groceries to families in need. Our donations helped to continue the mission of CCA by providing “Help, Housing and Hope” to families that are homeless in New Haven. A special “Thanks” to the efforts of YAAA member and coordinator Merieta Bayati, also to Calvin Haney, Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Tiffany Williams, Procurement and Joe Relihan, RIS for their continued support.
