He says: "I would definitely point Yalies toward that -- it's a fully paid deal with the possibility of becoming a correspondent at the end. Also very competitive and language-driven." Before that, he worked for a year as a web producer for the New Yorker, though does not recommend that other aspiring journalists take a technical position as a way of getting their foot in the door.
