You Have an Assigned Safety Advisor

How do you help a community of more than 10,000 with their questions and concerns regarding the safety of their work environment? How do you cover several square miles of the campus to help employees with all their health and safety needs on a daily basis? You find dedicated, talented, and trained personnel, working cooperatively to provide safety expertise, and enhancing the support and relationships of their community.

Safety Advisors, from the Office of Environmental Health & Safety, are assigned geographically across the University and Medical School. They are your key, direct, single point of contact for campus safety and are available to assist you in safety practices, procedures, programs, and awareness in your work environment.

Each of OEHS' Safety Advisors has more than 60 hours of training in all necessary health and safety disciplines. Your Safety Advisor will work with you and your department to provide you with the advice and the information you need to help you maintain safe and sound work practices in your workplace.
