cancer biology
West Campus will house the Yale Cancer Biology Institute. This center will bring together more than a dozen labs focusing on fundamental and translational cancer biology. The Institute will interact with the Genome Analysis, RNAi and Small Molecule Cores in a very direct manner and will benefit immensely from the scientific environment of the cell biology, chemical biology, microbial diversity and systems biology institutes.
The Cancer Biology Institute is an example of an interdisciplinary activity that will bring a diversity of researchers together to address one of the world’s most pressing health problems.
