Tours and Events
Tours
A general driving tour of the West Campus is offered the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 9:30 a.m. and lasts one hour. Up to 24 individuals can be accommodated per tour. For more information, call 641-4092 or 432-5681 or e-mail sharon.finkenauer@yale.edu.
Visitors are asked to present a valid Yale ID to the tour operator. Tours leave from the West Campus Visitor Center, 141 Frontage Road, Orange, CT. Parking is available.
Events
The Grace Murray Hopper Auditorium and cafeteria in building W-B25 are available for Yale-affiliated meetings, conferences, and events. Event minimum is 25 attendees and maximum is 250 attendees. Space is available Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. There are no room rental fees, but there are varying fees for custodial and other building-use charges depending upon event size. Yale Print and Publishing Services
This central campus unit offers graphic and editorial services for printing and the Internet: http://www.yale.edu/ris/sub_design_web.html.
Design projects include books and journals, brochures, identity guidelines, conference materials, posters, newsletters, stationery, and invitations.
Their Web developers work with graphic designers to create Web sites that are both highly sophisticated in functionality and powerful in visual impact. The Web team can also create Web-based applications using ASP technology to provide database integration, automatic e-mail notification, password-protected sites, and more.
The Mail and Fulfillment Services Department provides the Yale community fulfillment and mail support services. It provides complete mail and delivery services, including envelope addressing, inserting, metering and handling of 1st Class, Periodical, and Standard (3rd Class) US mail, International mail, and UPS. Yale Travel Services
Yale Travel Services located on central campus is available to meet the travel needs of Yale faculty, staff, students, and guests when traveling on Yale business. Using the Orbitz for Business Web tool the Yale community can book air, ground, and rail travel. In addition, this unit offers information on hotels, car rental, and travel insurance in addition to general information on national or international travel.
