Peabody Museum of Natural History
Yale’s West Campus is home to many of the Peabody Museum’s research collections. With collections from Anthropology to Paleontology to Zoology, the Peabody is poised to support faculty, students and visiting scholars who are studying biodiversity, global change and the history of life and civilizations. With support from the Office of Digital Assets and Infrastructure, the Peabody is focusing on digitizing these many treasures and building stronger links to the scientific communities through data sharing and interdisciplinary research with faculty and students from many Yale departments.

Enhanced security measures were incorporated for areas where collections are kept. They include multiple levels of electronic card access, intrusion alarms, and closed circuit television systems all of which are monitored 24/7 redundantly by UL certified Alarm Central Stations.
