The Amy Rossborough Fellowship is designed to give Yale undergraduates the opportunity to undertake service projects affecting women in the greater New Haven community. The Women's Center and the Rossborough family are particularly interested in making this opportunity available to students who, for financial reasons, would otherwise be unable to participate in community service or political action. Each Fellowship lasts for one semester, although it may be extended to a full year at the discretion of the Directors of the Fellowship. The Amy Rossborough Fellowship is made possible through the generosity of the Rossborough family, in honor of their daughter Amy (1959-1979). Amy was a political activist and a fight for women’s rights and social justice when she died in the summer before her senior year at Yale.
