Independent Internships
Unlike internship programs, these opportunities are available to any student and are not sponsored through a Yale department. Opportunities are available through databases, organization and professional group web sites. Students will be responsible for planning and meeting their own logistical needs. The Resources section provides travel, housing, academic credit issues, health and safety resources to help you to get started planning your summer experience.

Notable Internships
UCS has identified independent internships in desirable fields and locations. To view available positions, select the Notable Internships One-click Search link in eRecruiting. The following Notable internships are available:
- International/Yale World Fellow Notables- The World Fellows Program brings highly accomplished individuals from a diverse set of countries to Yale each year to explore critical issues and receive leadership training. Students may have the opportunity to intern with the Fellows or with the organizations for which they work during a summer or for a period following graduation.
- Washington Notables- Washington, DC area opportunities, unique to our nation’s capital, in fields such as government, advocacy, law, social services and media.
- Arts Notables- These internship opportunities are introduced to bring creative Yale undergraduates to creative professionals nationwide in art related career fields.
