Hey Prefrosh!
|
Welcome, class of 2016! To those of you deciding whether or not to apply to Yale, well, just do it! For those of you who have been accepted, congratulations! When deciding for a college, you’re choosing based on communities of peers who have a wide range of intellectual and extracurricular pursuits. At Yale, we have the best and the brightest from around the world living, learning, and creating in a unique environment. (No, we're not hyperbolic.) As just a small subset of the broader Yale community, the Vietnamese Student Association (ViSA) provides a home away from home, a cultural community, and a close-knit group of friends. Here at ViSA, we are more than a collection of people with a united interest in Vietnamese culture; we are also a group of friends brought together through a coordination of several events. From pho night to our annual cultural show, these are the events that bring ViSA together into the close community that we may miss from home. For the prefrosh deciding whether or not to attend, come to Bulldog Days! Bulldog Days is the three day experience specifically designed for you to get a feel for the college. Drop by the AACC or one of our dinners in the Saybrook Fellow Lounge (back of the Saybrook Dining hall) to meet some awesome people. Also, if you have any questions (about Yale, about life, about anything at all), don't be afraid to e-mail one of us. All board members' e-mails can be found here. So... apply! Accept! Join!
