Expressing oneself is essential in many functions of society. Expression may come in the form of actions, words, pictures, or even a combination of all three. At the Vietnamese Language and Literature Program, we have kept an ongoing record of our activates through videos, photos, websites, and even a Newsletter produced by the Vietnamese Students Association at Yale University. Through the support of a grant from the SEAS Council, Quang Van was able to spend a summer in Vietnam recording images and videos he used to incorporate into his Vietnamese Language Courses. Students from Visa have expressed themselves through weekly activities and meetings; highlighted by an annual cultural dinner and a cultural show that attack hundreds of guests. They have also produced a newsletter called ViSA Vibe to share their experiences with others.
