Urim v'Tumim is the student quarterly of Yale's Jewish community. The Hebrew words urim v'tumim, light and perfection, are found on the Yale seal. The phrase refers to the gems which adorned the Jewish high priest's breastplate during Biblical times. Traditionally, these gems were viewed as oracles of truth. "U v'T," as it's affectionately called, publishes a wide variety of genres, including prose, poetry, art, humor, photos, and even book reviews by Rambo. We hope you enjoy our magazine. Shalom.
