Alison Ormsby worked
as an education intern with URI during 1995, and spent her time
at the Edgewood School in New Haven working with Susan Swensen.
After graduating from the Yale School for Forestry and Environmental
Studies, she worked at the Bronx Zoo/Wildlife Conservation Society
as a Teacher Trainer for four years. Alison went on to get her
PhD in Environmental Studies from Antioch New England Graduate
School in 2003. Her research focused on the interactions between
people and parks and perceptions of residents at Masoala National
Park in Madagascar. She is currently an Assistant Professor of
Environmental Studies at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL. |
