Peter Hill was a community
forester in New Haven in 2000. He currently works on stream and
wetland restoration projects for the government of the District
of Columbia. Peter says the he uses the knowledge he gained from
his time with URI all of the time while planning restoration
work and working with multiple stakeholders. He offers strong
words of encouragement for an internship: "My URI experience
was a full-immersion, rapid-fire and brimstone baptismal into
the world of community forestry—from winter interest to
summer shoveling. I am wholeheartedly pleased and Messianic about
my conversion! Do not fear—join now!" |
