Kimberly Baymiller (née
Strum) worked at URI as a Greenspace Community Forester in New
Haven in 1997 and 1998. Since graduating from the Yale School
of Forestry and Environmental Studies, she has worked for International
Paper Company, starting as an Environmental Specialist and most
recently as the Manager of Water Policies and Programs in the
company's Forest Resources Group. Remembering her internship
at URI, Kim says she was "honored to play a small role in
helping residents take back their communities and that she experienced
things I never had been exposed to growing up in a small New
England town." |
