Gary Barrett was a Community
Forester for Community Greenspace in New Haven in 1995. For the
past seven years, he has worked for the USDA Forest Service International
Programs Office on a variety of issues from U.S. forest policy
to overseas disaster. Gary says that his internship with URI
helped him develop a "love for New Haven and a deeper understanding
of the importance of community greenspaces in America’s
inner cities." |
