E. Emailed SCCS Student Campaign for Child Survival – Alice
- Have money from them – weŐre holding it from when we merged
- Use money to fund trip to conference at SCCS in Washington D.C. March 24th: 3 days
- Conference: Advocacy, petition congress to give more money for childrenŐs issues, speakers from groups in addition to UNICEF, how to campaign
F. Princeton has UNICEF chapter – meeting them, mixer (Feb?)
G. Guiness book of world record:
- talked about twister last semester– now broken
- largest # of crossdressers on stage dribblingÉ
- largest card tourney – currently 300 participants
H. Global Health Week: iDance – dance-a-thon, finale for week of global health
- Trying to get Jackie Chan

- Her son – 2nd yr law student, child prodigy, possible can come to meetings
- Contact global health to come next week – Sameer
I. ChildrenŐs story competition – from ChildrenŐs Week last semester
- Received original stories from Yale students, one way spur Yalies to think about what can do for children

L. Meeting time - Tuesday 9:00, or 8:00 if people donŐt have sections
M. Global Health Week (Feb 3-9)– really close, need help
- Advertise, manual labor
- IDance – team-oriented, sign-up online will start, 4pm-4am, have salsa lessons in afternoon
- Our suggestions: hang signs outside of dorm windows,
- Other campuses raised 100s of 1000s of dollars

N. ChildrenŐs Week art exhibit tragedy- Sameer
- Teacher saw photographs at ShawŐs, not happy with how looked, took down – contacted PSI Minh, who was in contact with Jess, Jess left
- Alice emailed apology, Sameer will meet with Minh to apologize more
- So weŐre on good terms with Dwight hall.
O. Spring Break options – want to do UNICEF trip?
- Zigler Fellow – part of Zigler Center, Friday lectures, SB to Wash. D.C.
- initially were going to Africa, until strife broke out
- Michael Kirtley – retired National Geographic
o Ariane Kirtley had baby – founder of Amaan Imaan, works in Niger to build sustainable wells, weŐve fundraised for AI
P. Raffi – came last semester, wants to start child honoring movement, any ideas
- came to him in a vision during the night
- philosophy – children shouldnŐt be submitted to branding, advertisements
- has new CD – Changes

- hook him up with Princeton, talk to UNICEFŐs college campus director

- kindergarten sponsored by government, gives lower-income and poor children ealy childhood education
- once a week, make presentation – made instruments, introduced music
- extra activity for them, spice up their learning, make learning fun

- last year sold measles pins
- made valentines for YNH pediatric patients
- Rosh and Roshan will talk to hospital
S. The Hunt – again?
- treasure hunt around campus
- prizes $500 worth of certificates
- collaborated with groups YSECS, but didnŐt help very much
T. Benefit dinner at nice restaurant – prefix dinner, work something out with
