Our services
Physical Therapy provides care for musculo-skeletal injuries, neuro-muscular conditions, sports injuries (both acute and chronic) and post surgical conditions. Our staff works with the patient and clinician to design and implement the most effective program combining hands on treatment and the use of therapeutic devices.
We also stock or have access to a variety of assistance devices (crutches, canes, braces, etc.) and can direct members to qualified outside vendors for additional adaptive equipment.
Procedures performed include modalities such as:
- Rehabilitation exercises
- Preventive education
- Home programs
- Proprioception training
- Flexibility training
- Neuro-muscular reeducation
- Post-surgical rehabilitation
- Certified Hand Therapy
- Myofascial techniques
- Custom created hand/forearm splints
Appointments
Appointments with Physical Therapy require a referral from a YHP clinician. Yale Workers' Compensation cases are also treated.
