Travel is quite commonplace for Yale students, especially during the spring and summer seasons. While traveling within the United States does not require special measures, international travel is different because every country not only has different laws, culture and language, but also different medical systems, endemic diseases, sanitation availability, etc. There are many things to consider when traveling abroad from acquiring a passport to obtaining necessary immunizations.
