distribution by the Master's Office are Mondays at 12:00 noon for Monday
afternoon distribution and Thursdays at 12:00 noon for Thursday afternoon
distribution. Sorry, but emails will not be sent to all Trumbullians
outside these designated times, so please plan ahead. You may send your

1. Apple Picking October 4th
Trumbull is going apple picking on Saturday, October 4th to Bishops Orchard in Guilford. Please sign up in the Master’s Office if you would like to go by Thursday, October 2nd. The bus leaves Trumbull at 1:00 p.m. then heads back to TC at 4:00 p.m. Refreshments at the orchard will be provided.

Please sign up in the Master's Office by October 6th if you would like to reserve a seat at one or all three parts of the Rubin-Cooke 2008-2009 presentation with guest Linda Greenhouse, Journalist, former New York Times Supreme Court Reporter, Pulitzer Prize Winner for Journalism on Monday, October 13th.

3. Mellon Undergraduate Research Grants
A limited number of Mellon Forum Research Grants ($500 per student maximum) are available for Trumbull undergraduates to pursue research during the academic year 08-09 under the supervision of a member of the Yale faculty. If awarded a grant, you are required to report on the results of your research either to the Mellon Senior Forum or to another educational forum in the College. In addition, you must submit to the Master's Office a written statement on the work made possible by the grant by April 17, 2009.
The application for the research grant is in the Master's Office or at www.yale.edu/councilofmasters and the deadline for submission is Monday, October 13, 2008.
