Master Janet Henrich
Nationally prominent in developing policies and programs to benefit women's health, Master Janet Henrich (janet.henrich@yale.edu ; Department Page) is equal parts scholar, teacher, and clinician. Associate Professor of Medicine and of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the School of Medicine, Director of the Women's Health Program at Yale, Special Assistant in the Office of Research on Women's Health at the NIH, Master Henrich has a list of accomplishments that would inspire any freshman contemplating a pre-medical curriculum. Yet for all her achievements, she exhibits the pure joy in medicine that she felt starting out and a deep desire to share her experience with students such as the two of you. At the same time, she appreciates the value of a strong liberal arts education and the necessity to remain open to change so no academic possibility will be neglected.
