Job Hunting in a Difficult Economy

Great job opportunities are out there, but you’re going to have to work harder to uncover them in this environment.  For some students, this requires a different approach; for others, this is an opportunity to rethink their direction.  Dean Jones addresses both macro-level approaches to examining career choices and tactical-level job search tips.

Impact Interviewing

There is no shortage of qualified job and internship candidates.  How will you stand out from the rest?  With fewer opportunities in this economy, you need to be thoroughly prepared when those interviews come along.  Learn key strategies to utilize before, during, and after your interviews for maximum impact.

Summer Options

This workshop will highlight the fundamental components involved in developing an effective resume, and then outline how to write a first-rate cover letter that will “connect the dots” between your resume and that big opportunity.
