Advice:
Check the courses on line that the registrar records you are enrolled in. Perhaps, for instance, you have for some time meant to withdraw from a course and have forgotten. Perhaps online you are enrolled in a discussion section and have changed sections since then. If you find any discrepancies, just come by my office to find out how to clear them up.
Academic Deadlines:
November 7: Last day to convert from CR/D.\/Fail option in a fall term course to a letter grade.
Pre-Medical Registration Meetings: If you plan to enter medical school or another health profession program in Summer or Fall 2010, please attend one of the following mandatory registration meetings which will cover the application process beginning next spring, registration with the Health Professions Advisory Board, establishing a credentials file at Career Services, and much more. There will be ample time for questions. All meetings will be held in Room 369 of UCS

The purpose of this undergraduate summer research program is to identify and encourage promising students from all disciplines to engage in full-time research and to consider cardiovascular research careers. BARBARA JORDAN HEALTH POLICY SCHOLARS PROGRAM. The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation is accepting applications for the 2009 Barbara Jordan Health Policy Scholars Program. This intensive summer program provides college students with an opportunity to work on policy issues in a congressional office and to engage in original health policy research and analysis under the guidance of Foundation research staff. College seniors and recent college graduates who have a strong interest in addressing racial and ethnic health disparities, or who are themselves a member of a population that is adversely affected by racial and ethnic health disparities are eligible to apply. Carnegie Endowment Junior Fellows Program ( www.ceip.org ) The Endowment for International Peace Junior Fellows Program is designed to provide work experience for recent graduates who have a serious career interest in the international affairs. Eligible are graduating seniors. The fellowship begins on August 1, 2009. Yale is invited to nominate two candidates to the national competition.
