Getting Around Yale

Yale's campus is best experienced up close. The depth of detail of the extraordinary Neo-Gothic architecture cannot be fully appreciated from your car. A casual stroll or relaxed bike ride to your campus destination is often quicker than using a car and offers a unique opportunity to see the Lawyer Gargoyles on the Sterling Law School. New Haven is an urban area with limited on-street parking, so driving is often the slowest and least convenient way to get around.

So instead of spending your time walking up and down the flat concrete stairwells of parking garages, choose from one of the many car-free options that will deliver you to the door of your campus location, efficiently and pleasantly!
