Kendra Mack is the Senior Administrative Assistant for Teacher Preparation and Education Studies. She oversees marketing, recruitment, admissions, student services, and technology for the department. She is also the department's Sustainability Leader. Kendra is a graduate of Yale College and of the Teacher Preparation Program.
Prior to joining the staff at Yale, Kendra taught public school music for four years, including three years in the New Haven Public Schools. She piloted a violin program at Hill Central Elementary School, teaching group violin lessons to 150 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. She also collaborated with the Comprehensive Arts program in the NHPS to teach violin at Jackie Robinson Middle School, and directed the string program at E.O. Smith High School in Storrs, CT. Kendra is a professional musician and a freelance creative professional specializing in standards-based web design.
