Web Design and Development

Web Design and Development provides a comprehensive range of Web services. As the Yale Center for Advanced Instructional Media they also offer multimedia teaching software and Web sites, and Web publications for medical continuing education.

Provides on-campus audio, video and photographic services for classes, special events, productions and publications.

Film Study Center

Film Study Center
Houses a growing collection of film titles on DVD, laser discs, VHS and 16 mm prints, as well as scripts, books and other reference materials. These are available only to Yale faculty and students for classroom instruction and course study purposes.

Engineering Media Lab Engineering Media Lab provides advanced media services within Engineering.
Center for Media Initiatives Center for Media Initiatives
Funds and develops faculty-based projects that push conventional media boundaries and improve teaching at Yale University. Websites, video, audio and interactive media projects are developed in a highly creative studio environment by former industry-based professionals.
Center for Language Study Center for Language Study coordinates resources for the more than fifty languages taught at Yale. The CLS provides leadership and support for pedagogical innovation, professional development and implementation of new methodologies in language instruction and learning. The Digital Audio Web Site gives students access to the audio component of their language courses. Languages from Arabic to Zulu are represented. Chinese and Korean Picture Dictionaries provide both visual and auditory help. Videos of Russian TV with follow-up questions for students. Responses are emailed to the instructor.

Electronic references Center for CD-ROM and Full Text Database
Lists the titles available in the CD-ROM Center on the first floor of Sterling Memorial Library with a brief description of each.
Center for Earth Observation Center for Earth Observation
A center created to consolidate and promote the use of satellite remote sensing throughout the Yale Campus.
Center for BioDiversity Center for BioDiversity Conservation and Science
A center whose mission is to produce the latest advances in scientific knowledge and bring this knowledge to bear on solving environmental problems on a human scale.
Digital Media Center for the Arts Digital Media Center for the Arts
A facility created to explore new areas of education and cross-disciplinary interaction that result when traditional art collides with the computer age.
