Yale's West Campus, located on 136 acres 7 miles west of downtown New Haven, was acquired in 2007. The facility includes over 400,000 square feet of research/lab space and includes office and warehouse space, in addition to a full-service child care center and a central utilities plant. The West Campus provides opportunities to enhance the University’s medical and scientific research and other academic programs.
