At the HYP tri-meet he placed third in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke, with a season best 2:04.46 in the 200. He finaled in both events at Eastern Championships with a 6th place finish in the 200 and a 7th place finish in the 100. His Eastern Championship 100 Breaststroke time of 56.94 narrowly missed the school record by one 0.01 seconds. In addition, he swam on the record breaking 200 medley relay team with George Gleason, Jon Malpass, and Alex Hoffman.
