The highlights of his year were not swimming his best times, but rather watching his teammates swim theirs. 'I felt extremely proud to see Sven break the Yale record in the 200 fly, watching Fahy shatter the easterns record in the 200 IM, watching Schulte drop about 30 seconds of his best time in the mile, and witnessing the beating of Tim Martin by both Schulte and Palumbo in the 500 at HYP. These are the moments and the memories from this past season that I cherish the most.'
