In 1999, he finished 3rd in the 200 IM, 5th in the 100 back and 5th in the 200 back at Easterns. At HYPs, he won both backstrokes. During the 2000 season, he placed 2nd in the 200 free, 4th in the 100 back and 3rd in the 200 back at HYP. At Easterns, he finished off a great seaon with a 4th place finishes in the 200 IM and 200 free, and was 3rd in the 200 back. This past summer, he competed at the Pan American Games and will represent the Virgin Islands at the Olympics in Australia. George is also a US Olympic Trials qualifier.
