Financial Aid
The International Summer Award (ISA) is available to eligible Yale College students. Study abroad applicants who want to apply for an ISA should visit that web site (www.yale.edu/isa) before applying to Summer Session in order to determine eligibility for the award.

Program Fee*
The $1,700 Program Fee includes Study Abroad Health Insurance and Activities Fee. HTH Worldwide is one of the world's largest providers of medical and security evacuation. HTH provides local 24-hour medical assistance, including the evaluation and monitoring of medical treatment and comprehensive management of evacuations and repatriations.
The Program fee also includes on the ground coordination and staffing through the hosting institution for:
- Accompanied round trip ground transportation between Paris and Pont-Aven with one night hotel stay in Paris on the last day of the program.
- Purchase and replenishment of course related art supplies and studio materials
Please note that the $1,700 program fee will be due two weeks from the date of your receipt of acceptance to the program.
Tuition
The tuition for this program in 2008 is $4,800 for 2 Yale course credits.
Housing in Pont-Aven
Students will be placed with local families in Pont-Aven. Housing costs include daily continental breakfast. In addition, students will have dinner seminars four evenings per week.
Round-Trip Airfare
Estimated cost of airfare from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), New York to Charles de Gaulle International Airport (CDG), Paris. Transportation between Paris and Pont-Aven is provided by the program.
Meals
Estimated costs for meals not covered in the program. Many restaurants, cafes and a weekly outdoor market are available to the students during lunch time. Unlike Paris, daily expenses in Pont-Aven can be reasonable.
Miscellaneous
Once in Pont-Aven there will be minimal expenses, daily spending allowance can be kept in the $25 range.
