Office of International Students and Scholars
Yale's Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) is responsible for the general welfare of international students at Yale University. OISS serves as a resource on immigration matters and can also assist students with problems concerning adjustment to life in the United States and other personal matters and concerns. OISS issues the visa documents needed to apply for a student visa under Yale's immigration sponsorship, and processes school transfers, employment authorization, and requests for extensions of authorized periods of stay in the United States.
