Travel directions are to the Yale Summer Session office, 55 Whitney Avenue, 4th floor, Suite 402.
Route 15 (Wilbur Cross/Merritt Parkways)
From north
Take Exit 61. Drive south on Whitney Avenue for approximately five miles. Our office is located on the left at 55 Whitney Avenue.
From south
Take Exit 57. Drive east on Route 34 ( Derby Avenue ) for five miles to the fork of Derby Avenue and George Street (three blocks past the Yale athletic fields). Bear right on George Street. Continue on George Street to Church Street. Church Street becomes Whitney Avenue one block away from our office. Our address is 55 Whitney Avenue, on the right side of the street.
Interstate 95
From north and south
Turn off I-95 at the merge with I-91 north (toward Hartford-Springfield) and continue for a short distance on I-91 to exit 3, Trumbull Street. At the exit light take a left on Orange Street to the next light; take a right on Grove Street to the next light; take a right onto Whitney Avenue. We are located one block up on the right at 55 Whitney Avenue.
Interstate 91
From north
Follow I-91 to exit 3, Trumbull Street. At the exit light take a left on Orange Street to the next light; take a right on Grove Street to the next light; take a right onto Whitney Avenue. We are located one block up on the right at 55 Whitney Avenue.
Parking
Metered parking is available on local streets. City parking garages are also available.
By Train
There is hourly Metro-North service to New Haven from Grand Central Station in New York. For further information, call 800.638.7646 or visit the Metro-North Web site. Amtrak service is scheduled daily from Boston, Washington, D.C., or New York (Penn Station). Call 800.872.7245 or visit the Amtrak Web site for information. From the railroad station we suggest using local taxi service.
By Plane
Tweed–New Haven Airport, 203.466.8833, is approximately four miles from the Yale campus. Taxi, bus, and car rental service is available. There is frequent limousine service to New Haven from other airports. Connecticut Limousine (800.472.5466 or www.ctlimo.com), a van shuttle company, services Kennedy International Airport (New York), La Guardia Airport (New York), Newark International Airport (Newark, New Jersey), and Bradley International Airport (Hartford, Connecticut).
