GLOBAL SUMMER PROGRAM (GSP)

What is the International Alliance of Research Universities (IARU) Global Summer Program (GSP)?

The IARU GSP is an exciting learning experience for undergraduate students at ten of the world’s leading research universities. It provides intensive, residential summer courses to students from IARU member institutions. By participating in the IARU Global Summer Program, students will be joining a new community of global citizens and future global leaders.

Students participating in the GSP will:

  • Address critical issues from a global perspective.
  • Work with outstanding peers from around the world.
  • Learn intensively at a foreign university.
  • Learn from top researchers.

“I value my Yale education more than anything, but the month I spent at Oxford was one of the most educational and exciting experiences I have ever had.”
Harry Koulos (’11), studied at Oxford, summer 2009.

“I spent my third summer in New Haven—but the summer that I enrolled in the GSP program was by far my favorite summer. The Global Summer Program challenged me to push my boundaries intellectually, to think globally, and to delve into the study of political psychology at the most fundamental and significant level.”
