Study in Buenos Aires and strengthen your Spanish skills! Students will have the unique opportunity to enroll in a five-week course and study advanced Spanish (L5) in the city of Buenos Aires, one of the most cosmopolitan capitals in South America. Located in front of the Río de La Plata, Buenos Aires is a modern, bustling and radiant city that features the European architecture of its founders, old-time cafés and stylish restaurants, and an intense cultural life which absorbs the passion of its people; the "Porteños" (people of the port). The course Theater and Poetry Workshop taught by Sonia Valle will give students the opportunity to live with local host families as well as tour and explore through organized program activities, the many artistic and architectural sites this modern city has to offer. In addition, students will learn about Argentine theater and poetry and attend several plays and conferences as part of their language immersion experience. |
