Students will have the unique opportunity to enroll in an eight-week course of study in Spanish language and culture in Bilbao. The courses, Intermediate Spanish and Spain, 1936 to the Present: History, Literature, and Culture, will be led by Yale faculty, with the first half held in New Haven and the latter half in Bilbao. Once in Bilbao, students will get to participate in sections taught by local professors from the University of Deusto, located in the heart of the city. Students will live with local host families and will have the opportunity to explore Bilbao and the surrounding Basque region on their own and through organized program activities. |
