Chapel and Residence Update
Saint Thomas More Chapel is embarking upon a year of renovations to the Chapel and residence. This $5 million project will bring the buildings up to code, restore the Chapel so it can be our worship space for years to come, and make the residence suitable for our chaplains. Construction began in September, with some basic hazardous materials remediation. We anticipate that demolition will begin shortly, followed by the erection of scaffolding to permit work to be done to the Chapel walls and ceiling. Read more about the renovations in our brochure.
This project, known as "Phase II Construction," will be completed by fall of 2008 and will cost $5 million. George Knight is the architect on the project and Petra Corporation is the general contractor. There are numerous opportunities to support this project at all levels.
