Every other year, the group returns to the studio to record an album, but, in many ways, this past year was a year of firsts for the Spizzwinks. In addition to experimenting with state-of-the-art close micing (rhymes with Viking) and mixing techniques, the 'winks also got the chance to work with legendary album producer Bill Hare, a man who has been called "the Dr. Dre of a cappella recording." By all indications, this year's album looks (or rather, sounds) like it'll be the best one ever, but we'll let you be the judge.
