Concerts
Each year, the Spizzwinks(?) perform over 100 concerts across the nation and around the world. Over the past few years, the 'Winks have performed at the White House, Carnegie Hall, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and professional sporting events. In addition to these venues, we have brought our unique blend of musicianship and humor to numerous churches, country clubs, theaters, and schools all over the globe. Our performances bring both entertainment and prestige to any concert series, club, or corporate event. As part of our goal of promoting music in education, we perform throughout the year at schools, and have a proven track record of encouraging participation in choral and musical organizations, particularly among male students.
Our vast and varied repertoire of songs, humor and choreography allows us to develop a performance that is appropriate and enjoyable for any audience. We can present programs in short sets of fifteen minutes or sing up to two hours of music. Depending on the occasion, we can perform in tails, suits, or casual attire. The Spizzwinks(?) are entirely self-funded, and it is the proceeds from these events which allow us to bring our music to audiences around the world.

Tours
There are few groups in the nation who travel as extensively as the Spizzwinks(?). We take three major tours each year - in the winter, spring, and summer. In the past three years, the Spizzwinks(?) have impressed audiences across six continents. When traveling internationally, the Spizzwinks(?) act as cultural ambassadors for the United States, often performing on television and radio, and at large public events. We also promote cultural exchange, singing joint concerts with choirs from universities and other organizations. Through our yearly performing schedule, the Spizzwinks(?) are able to cover the costs of all travel and lodging on tour for all of our members, making the Spizzwinks(?) a very affordable way to travel the world in great company.

Master Classes
In keeping with our goal to promote music in education, The Yale Spizzwinks (?) conduct master classes for many of the schools at which we perform. Led by our musical director, the Spizzwinks will discuss vocal technique and keys to a cappella singing through a series of interactive warmups and exercises. The group will demonstrate ways to improve the overall product—blend, dynamics, phrasing, performance—by showing examples and engaging the students in similar exercises. The students may also sing for us and get feedback on how to implement what they’ve learned in their own performing. Finally, we will share what it’s like to sing a cappella and tour the world, and answer any questions the students might have. These affordable classes can last anywhere from thirty to ninety minutes, and allow students to meet and experience all that the Spizzwinks can offer in a smaller setting.

The Spizzwinks(?) perform around 100 concerts all over the world each year. Many of these concerts are open to the public. Visit our Public Calendar to find out about our upcoming performances.

During their 2009-2010 World Tour, the Yale Spizzwinks(?) will perform in Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, Brazil, Paraguay, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Burma, Malaysia, California, Nebraska, Missouri, Oregon, and along the Eastern Seaboard. Please visit our Business Page to find out more.
