Welcome to Rush!
This concert showcases all of the Yale a cappella groups, and is our first opportunity to show you what we’re all about. Each group performs two numbers, including the senior groups, the Whiffenpoofs and Whim ’n Rhythm. This concert is a great way for you to get a feel for each of the groups and begin to think about which ones you might like to rush. Even if you aren’t planning to audition, come check it out – it’s a lot of fun no matter what. Something Extra is singing sixth, so be sure to come by for the beginning!
Dwight Hall Concert on Friday, September 2nd at 10:30 pm
This concert gives you one more chance to hear all the groups, and when the music is over, it’s time to sign up for auditions! Pandemonium breaks out as rushees-to-be visit the different a cappella groups’ tables and attempt to avoid being run over by overly enthusiastic a capellians. No worries--despite all the noise and confusion, everyone will get a chance to audition. If you can’t make it to Dwight, you can definitely still try out. Just send an e-mail to any groups that you are interested in, and they’ll fit you in for an audition.
