Graduate Program
The department offers concentrations in three primary areas: Comparative and Historical Sociology, Cultural Sociology and Social Theory, and Social Stratification and the Life Course. In addition to these fields department faculty provide instruction and mentorship in the areas of Gender and Sexuality, Political Sociology, Sociology of Religion, Economic Sociology, Urban Sociology and Ethnography, and Chinese Society.
