Blinding Insights Interviews with Jeff Swanson
September 7th, 2010 Jeff Swanson (PhD, '85) is a Duke professor, blogger, and world-class insomniac who hosts a talk show on the web with several Real Americans who look amazingly like him. The show features trenchant social and political commentary from Jimmy Jay Viras, the nation's most plainspoken country singer; Wisconsin's Professor Wilfred Nader-Fonda ("Just two years at Oxford, an accent for a lifetime..."); and Chapel Hill police sergeant Sigurd Bjornstad ("He's out there ... protecting the public from twenty-eight thousand knuckleheads.") A special guest, Bill Clinton Hernandez, appeared on a recent show devoted to immigration and Hispanic culture in the US. View the YouTube link: http://www.youtube.com/user/capitanswan.
