PRISM/SMHAC co-sponsored Silliman College Master's Tea with Lauren Jade

Lauren Jade Martin is a mixed-race (Asian and Jewish) queer feminist artist and writer active in anti-violence and social justice organizing.  In addition to her activist work, she writes and performs about the intersections of race, class, gender and sexuality, exploring the fragmentation, overlapping and performance of identities.  She most recently facilitated workshops at the NYC Grassroots Media Conference, True Colors XI, and New School University.  Lauren will be pursuing her PhD in Sociology in the fall.
