Major Publications

Major publications by faculty and students associated with the Silviculture Laboratory at the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, Yale University have been grouped by ten year periods that start from the School's founding in 1900. Student publications concern only that work concerning the autecology (silvics) and silviculture of trees that relate directly to their research done at Yale. Similarly, all publications of School of Forestry & Environmental Studies faculty that concern the autecology (silvics) and silviculture of trees have been included. For faculty (currently Smith, Larson & Ashton) within the silviculture laboratory, all publications have been included. We recognize that this is only a partial list of publications and in due course the list will be updated. Books have been listed separately.
