| Yale Financial Aid Application | There is no Institutional Financial Aid Application required at this time. A supplemental application will be sent to matriculated students in May. |
| CSS Profile Application | Custodial Parents: Apply online at profileonline.collegeboard.com. Yale’s CSS College Code is 3987. Yale receives your Profile data electronically from CSS so you should not send copies or printouts of your application to Yale. Non-Custodial Parents: The CSS Non-Custodial Profile is required if your parents are divorced, separated, or were never married. Completing the CSS ProfileCurrency ConversionOn your financial aid applications, you should list all financial figures in U.S. dollars using the current conversion rate. Tax Return and Income InformationThe income sections of the Profile Application contain references to U.S. tax return figures. The following information should assist you in completing the Profile with figures from your Canadian tax return.

| Parents’ tax return(s) | Custodial Parents: Submit signed copies of your parents’ 2011 Canadian tax returns to Student Financial Services. If your parents’ 2011 tax returns will not be completed by March 15, 2012, you should send copies of your parents’ 2010 tax returns. You should only send the 2010 tax forms to Yale if you will not be able to submit the 2011 returns by March 15. Non-Custodial Parents:Your noncustodial parent must send a copy of his/her 2011 tax return directly to Student Financial Services. If your noncustodial parent’s 2011 tax return will not be completed by March 15, he/she should submit the 2010 return to Student Financial Services. |

Recommended Submission Date
In order to receive a provisional financial aid decision with your admissions decision, you should submit the above application materials no later than March 15, 2012. We will continue to process applications as they are received.

When submitting financial aid information directly to Yale, send it to Student Financial Services and not to the Office of Admissions. Be sure that your name (as the student applicant) and your date of birth are listed on the top of each document.
