Application Guidelines
for International Students (Non-Canadian)
The following information will help you determine which applications and forms you will need and the dates you should submit them. In order to submit your application materials as soon as possible, you may need to estimate some of the information.

| Yale Financial Aid Application | There is no Institutional Financial Aid Application required at this time. A supplemental application will be sent to matriculated students in May. |
| CSS International Student Financial Aid Application | Download the form and submit to Student Financial Services. Note: International students with parents living in the U.S. should complete the 2009-2010 CSS Profile Application, available online at www.collegeboard.com. |
| Parents’ 2008 tax return(s) | Custodial Parents: Submit signed and translated copies of your parents’ 2008 tax returns to Yale Student Financial Services. If your parents do not file a tax return, you should submit documentation of their income. Non custodial Parents: Submit signed and translated copies of your parents’ 2008 tax returns to Student Financial Services. If your parents do not file a tax return, you should submit documentation of their income. |
| International Noncustodial Parent Statement (Only required if your parents are divorced, separated, or were never married.) | Download and submit directly to Student Financial Services along with a copy of your noncustodial parent’s 2008 tax return/income information. |

When submitting financial aid information directly to Yale using the above information, be sure that your name (as the student applicant) and U.S. Social Security number (if applicable) are listed on the top of each document.
