Cost of Education

The cost of education includes tuition, fees, room, board, and books and personal expenses (standard for all students based on an average estimated cost).

Parent Contribution

The calculated amount that the parents are expected to contribute from their own resources for one academic year.  The parent contribution does not include outside resources such as outside scholarships, tuition benefits, etc.

Student Income Contribution

This is standard for all students and while we expect most students will contribute the minimum amount, it is possible that some students will have a higher contribution from income as a result of the calculation mandated by the federal government.  You should expect the standard amount to increase slightly each year.

Self-Help

This is a combination of loans/and or term time job and makes up the initial component of your financial aid award.  You should expect this amount to increase slightly each year.
