How can a student pay for her/his commencement attire?

Students can order online at www.yale.edu/sis and pay by credit card or student charge (for those students who currently have the privilege of charging designated goods and services to their student accounts, charging will be available to them until March 30). Payments can also be made by check and cash and returned to the ASA office with the completed order form; if paying by cash; students must come directly to the ASA office.

What if I am graduating with two degrees?

The official policy is that you can only wear one hood for commencement. You will have to decide which hood to order (usually that of the higher degree).

What if I can't pick up the gown myself?

If you are unable to pick up your attire at any of these times, you must make arrangements for someone else to pick it up for you. The person who is picking up your attire must present their Yale I.D. (or a valid official photo I.D.) with a note and your signature giving them permission to pick up your attire.
