Graduates of Yale University are entitled to one diploma for each degree earned. Copies of diplomas will not be issued. However, certificates evidencing proof of graduation and bearing the seal of the University are available for $20.00. This document usually meets the need for which a duplicate diploma is requested. All applicants for certificates of graduation must complete and return an application for certificate of graduation form. Verification of your signature by a Notary Public is required. This application form cannot be submitted to this office by fax. Certificates will be processed upon receipt of the completed application form and the fee of $20.00 (payable to Yale University). Certificates of graduation are sent via U.S. First-Class mail. Please allow 5 days delivery time by the Postal Service before contacting our office at 203 432-2315. For an additional $5.00 fee, your order will be processed and placed in the mail the same day it is received by our office. If you would like the document returned to you by express courier, please provide a prepaid FedEx return slip or include an additional amount of $25.00 for domestic shipping; $65.00 for international shipping. The completed certificate of graduation, which includes the raised seal of the University, cannot be returned to you by fax. A fax will not transmit this engraving.
